As a mechanical engineer at HMB LINTEC marine, you will have the opportunity to participate in the development of advanced mechanical systems, develop innovative solutions to technical challenges, work closely with a multidisciplinary team, continuously improve existing machines and processes and expand your expertise through ongoing training.

Responsibilities
- Design and construction of machine parts and assemblies using SolidWorks CAD.
- Design of components in accordance with applicable standards and tolerance specifications.
- Collaboration on design projects for e.g. offshore cranes or mining service cranes.
- Creation of welding and production drawings for external suppliers.
- Careful checking of technical drawings.
- Standardization of components and assemblies to increase efficiency in design and production.
- Review of work packages from external service providers.
- Maintenance of components and assemblies in the PDM system.
Must-Haves
- Mechanical engineering studies or State-certified technician/ general technician specializing in mechanical engineering or studies in engineering sciences
- Several years of professional experiance
- Experience in the standard-compliant design of components including tolerance calculations.
- Ability to create detailed welding drawings.
- Strong understanding of the design and detailing of complex assemblies.
- Competence in the creation of drawings for external production.
- Experience in reviewing and approving technical drawings.
- Experience in the standardization of components and assemblies.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of structural mechanics and finite element analysis (FEM/FEA) for the design of components and assemblies.
- Experience in crane system design is an advantage.
- Knowledge about crane product standards and classification regulations, e.g. DNV-GL is an advantage.
